Freelance Whales came into my life some time ago and quickly made its way into my music rotation in a "I'm sick of snow and so ready for spring" mix. I wasnt able to cath the band at Great Scott when they came around a few months ago, and I'm still bummed about it. On a better note, some friends of Canvas made it to SXSW this week for "work" and caught Freelance Whales performace yesterday. Below is a shot Jed took at the show. That was only day 1. Looking forward to more news and pics from SXSW this week.
